I am a Patient Services Manager III at UNC Hospitals, where I have worked for the past 12 years. My objective is to thrive in a position where I feel supported and I am able to advocate for and support teammates.

I continue to seek new ways to apply evidence based practice guidelines. I challenge teammates to find innovative solutions. Through recognition and engagement activities, I am able to promote a healthy work environment in which all members feel comfortable to talk about safety concerns.

What I like best about being a nurse leader is having the opportunity to contribute to the professional growth and development of other healthcare workers while establishing protocols and guidelines that enrich the lives of those we serve.
